Klaus Gueniker
Klaus Gueniker has spent four decades at the forefront of furniture and cabinetry automation—often years ahead of industry readiness.
Trained as a cabinet maker and engineer in industrial furniture production, Klaus was already working on Batch Size 1 concepts in the late 1980s, when most factories still optimized for large runs. He was among the early pioneers introducing computerized engineering, CNC machining, and integrated production systems across North America and Europe.
Through groundbreaking projects with technology leaders such as HOMAG, IMA, and Biesse—in the U.S., Canada, Germany, Austria, and China—Klaus helped translate advanced machinery into high velocity, high performance manufacturing operations.
As founder of Virtual Systems (VSI), he led the development of Insight, one of the world’s first demand‑driven Enterprise Manufacturing platforms, connecting design, engineering, and shop‑floor execution.
Today, as founding partner of ITE Partners, Klaus helps manufacturers prepare for automation and Industry 4.0—grounded in deep shop‑floor reality, not theory.
