Amy Thrasher Price

Amy Thrasher Price is a third-generation owner and President of D&H Quality Cabinets in Lindale, Texas. After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin, she spent several years in the non-profit sector before returning to her hometown in 2002 to join the family business. With 24 years of experience in the industry, Amy has undertaken every role in cabinet making, showcasing her deep understanding and passion for the craft.

Amy's love for cabinet making is palpable, and she finds solace in the midst of business stress by donning her tape measure and heading back to the shop. She is dedicated to promoting diversity within the industry, actively employing women across all departments of her shop and advocating for female representation on the Cabinet Makers Association (CMA) board.

As a business owner, cabinet maker, and advocate for women in the industry, Amy brings a unique perspective to the table. She understands the pressing need to secure skilled employees, recognizing that cabinet making requires a blend of manufacturing and highly skilled craftsmanship. Amy believes in attracting younger talent by investing in apprenticeship programs, forging partnerships with local educational institutions, and increasing the industry's visibility.

Amy's commitment to excellence is evident through D&H Cabinets' accolades, including the CMA’s Wood Diamond Awards. Beyond her involvement with CMA, Amy and her team actively participate in associations like the Tyler Area Builders Association and the Tyler and Lindale Chambers of Commerce. Personally, Amy is a member of Professional Women in Building and serves on the Tyler council of PWB, showcasing her dedication to both her craft and her community.
