Dean Mattson is a nationally recognized leader in woodworking education and the visionary behind the MiLL and the MiLL Method curriculum. His industry-driven approach transformed how students prepare for advanced manufacturing careers and inspired programs nationwide. As a founding influence behind the National Woods Board, Dean helped establish the framework for standardized woodworking curriculum, teacher training, and stronger industry–education partnerships across the country. His passion for workforce development continues to shape the next generation of CTE programs and professionals.
